Cloud Nothings: You’re Not That Good At Anything

With the exception of the crazy prolific MémoireD’amour, Cloud Nothings might be the most featured artist on this blog. There’s a reason for that. Dylan Baldi is a pop song writing machine, and he doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. The snottily-titled “You’re Not That Good At Anything” is from the same Kevin Greenspon split as “I Apologize”, which sees these guys digging even further into the basement for dusty hooks. It’s far more jagged and angular than anything we’ve heard from them (as well as shorter) and shows off their punkier, punchier side. It’s still infectious as hell, and the shredding meltdowns scattered throughout are made for air guitar.
